Objective: Create a logo that is fun and playful for a small local Mexican Ice cream business, using themes from Jalisco culture.

Process: I did research on the small town in Mexico, where the owners are from. The town they live in consists of dairy farmers and ranchers who live in simpler times with shared family values. After visiting many times and understanding the culture and styles shred across the community I decided to use the classic look of the Sombrero and Bandana as the iconography. I also wanted the type to resemble themes of traditional western cowboy.
